FIND A GOOD RESTAURANT

Lovers of fresh seafood can visit the 42nd St. Oyster Bar. Since 1931, fresh fish and the finest oysters have been served here. On weekends, there’s often live music to go with it.

DISCOVERING A BEAUTIFUL HOTEL

Many tourists visit Raleigh just passing through. As a result, the number of good hotels is limited. We recommend the Oakwood Inn B&B, where you’ll stay in a charming Victorian house and enjoy individually decorated rooms with good amenities.

A REWARDING DESTINATION IN THE SURROUNDINGS

Maybe you’re drawn to the coast. If so, you can steer that hire car to Wilmington. In just under two hours, you’ll be there. In Wilmington, you can expect a pretty old town, a worthwhile art museum with numerous works by American painters, and the Screen Gems film studios, where American television series are still made today.
